Step-by-Step Guide: How to Fill Out the Cuba d'Viajeros Travel Form for a Seamless Trip

As of January 2023, travelers heading to Cuba are required to complete the D'Viajeros Advance Information of Travelers Form. This essential form combines health-related questions with customs declarations, and it's a mandatory pre-travel step. To make your journey smoother, we've prepared a step-by-step guide to help you navigate this process seamlessly:

Step 1: Access the Online Form

Visit the dedicated website to begin your form submission (https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/inicio). You can start this process within 48 hours of your departure to Cuba.

Step 2: Language Selection

In the upper right-hand corner of the page, you'll find a language selection icon. Ensure you choose your preferred language. By default, the form is in Spanish, so it's crucial to switch to your language of choice.

Step 3: Form Request

With the language set, you can begin by clicking "form request." A pop-up form will appear on your screen, ready for you to input your information.

Step 4: Personal Details

Start by entering your personal information. Pay attention to the fields marked in red, indicating mandatory information. After completing this section, click "next."

Step 5: Flight and Migration Details

Provide your flight information and specify the Cuban airport you'll be landing at (most likely HAV). Double-check the airport code, which should match your ECC itinerary.

Step 6: Health Information

You'll need to report your "sanitary information" and vaccination status. If you haven't been vaccinated against COVID-19, a negative PCR test is required for entry into Cuba.

Step 7: Accommodation Details

Specify your accommodation arrangements. If your itinerary shows your first-night stay at the Hotel Nacional, choose "hotel" from the drop-down menu. If you haven't received the exact address for your initial accommodations, please get in touch with your ECC Trip Coordinator.

Step 8: Customs Information

In this section, there's no need to declare anything unless you're carrying $5,000 or greater in cash or personal items valued at $10,000 or more. Be sure to check the box if you have unaccompanied luggage or anything to declare at customs.

Step 9: Declaration

This step involves your sworn declaration.

Step 10: Save and Print the PDF

Congratulations, you've successfully completed the Cuba D'Viajeros travel form! After submitting the form, you'll receive a PDF with a QR code as proof of completion. It's highly recommended to print and retain this document to present at customs upon your arrival in Cuba. This efficient preparation ensures a smoother start to your Cuban adventure.
